With the smooth start of the "Oujiang Cup" sailing regatta, Wenzhou Jiaxin No. 22 Yacht Pier, one of the host ports for this event, was also officially put into use. Wenzhou Jiaxin Yacht Terminal 22 was originally Yangfushan Pier 2. After opening, it will serve as the starting point for the development of Jiaxin Yacht Group in Wenzhou. In the future, it plans to learn from the successful model of Taiwan Pier 22 to create a beautiful city card of Wenzhou.
After Wenzhou Jiaxin No. 22 Yacht Marina is put into operation, it will use yachts as a carrier to make full use of the waterfront landscape resources along the Oujiang River to launch yacht experience, leasing, driving training, sailing competitions, berthing management, brand display and trading and other related activities. Oujiang night tours, riverside food stalls, sports and leisure parks and other projects have formed a synergy to divert traffic, and launched sailing tours from the Oujiang River to Dongtou, Jiangxinyu, and Tanghe water systems to jointly promote the "moonlight" along the Oujiang River. "Economic" development, improve the quality of Wenzhou's water tourism, further meet the citizens' growing demand for water leisure and sightseeing, lead citizens to gradually enter the sports, leisure, trendy and fashionable "yacht life circle", and promote the development of Wenzhou's yacht upstream and downstream industries.
During the opening of the pier, the first Wenzhou-Taiwan Yacht Industry Development Exchange Conference was also held on May 16 at the Nanyang International Hotel in Dongtou District, Wenzhou City. Representatives from relevant governments of Wenzhou City and Dongtou District, as well as representatives from Taiwan, Guangdong, Fujian, Hainan, etc. More than 50 representatives of yacht companies in the local area will have in-depth discussions on the two major topics of "Opportunities and Challenges in the Development of Wenzhou's Yacht Industry" and "Exchange of Development Experience of Taiwan-funded Yacht Companies", and provide suggestions for the development of Wenzhou's yacht industry.
